You've got an excellent point there and I never thought about it, but that's probably what happened. I wonder if a can of Drano has a warning on it about something like this.

I myself wonder if people put chemical drain cleaners down that drain. Those are very bad for your pipes. I personally wonder why they even market those given the damage they can do. I think someone had a bright idea to come up with something that would dissolve most clogs, but they didn't think about the fact that it would eat right through your pipes.

I know you're going to find this hard to believe, but I attached the clamps myself and the pipe didn't cave in. Remember, something like this is only a temporary repair. If I had a quarter for everyone who told me I didn't know what I'm talking about, well, I would at least have enough money to buy a hamburger.

    Take Care !

This Guy hasn't a clue about water or plumbing, if you try clamping a 50 year old galvanised pipe the clamps will most likely cause the pipe to cave in when any pressure is applied.

All the rubber will do is move the leak to two places at each end, be honest with the customer and put a basin under the pipe until Monday.

I agree with planetiowa, the electrical outlet has made that cabinet a Death Trap.

I don't think that electrical outlet is safe, either.

@passavator1 You caught me, I didn't want to admit it on the video, but if it wasn't for people like you, I would probably need to see a psychologist. Thanks for the helpful information.
